airline: Korean Air, quite spacious leg space.. no tv..
exchange rate: S$1=820 won.
weather @ seoul abt -5 to -10˚C
weather @ ski resort: -17˚C to -23˚C
spent: ard S$1000 only for dear n me... including ski stuffs.. very thrifty oh...

Day 1

the day we reached is said to be the heaviest snow in korea in 70 yrs..
our plane cant land.. keep rounding in air for 20-30 min..

tried this on plane...

got instruction oh..

taste not bad... jus tat alot of rice ah..

see wat noty dear did..

haha..

we reach seoul early morning..
we missed a trip to experience traditional korea living due to the long delay in traffic.
not due to jam.. but due to the snow so cannot speed..
our 1st stopover for breakfast...
got quite alot of things...
bun....

porridge.. plain no taste... suppose to eat with all the std pickles n kimchi ba..

Pru engage NANTA performace..

NANTA is not cheap.. cost abt 40-60k won... abt S$50-70..Quoted from site:

we went korean house- where 大长金 is filmed..

can see ppl shoving snow on the rd every now n then...

throwing snow at dear...

acting romantic...

then they all start throwing snow ard... fun ah.. dear acting to propose to me.. haha!

but how cramp dear face is...

haha.. i heavy meh...leg finally up..

chris phoebe etc throw snow into dear face..

n into his ears..

dare not stand below it...

din really shop.. cos too cold...

handmade accessories..see how thick the snow is...

wana try but no time to buy...

the oil... face shop mask is crazily cheap..
1 pack of tens.. cost 10,000 won..
equivalent to abt S$12-S$13...
means each mask ard S$1.20-1.30...
in sg its 3 for S$10.
so i bought 100 masks!

im automatically being pushed in...

all of us is like sandwich..

me n callie nearly cant get out..

but i use alot force to push out..

Day 3

Ski time!!

ive always wanted to try ski ing...

4 of us share the room...
not big hor... but can sleep can liao..
1 nite is S$240..
the floor got heater so its warm..

we waste no time...

go straight to chk out ski stuffs...

start renting..
we tried nite n day ski...
woo hoo..
duno why give me such big wear...
got rent clothings n equipment..

im the odd one out... lifen's wearing her sis one..

super cold..

fully geared..
acutally jus need hat, cover ear, mouth nose (cos too cold) can liao ...
dun really need googles n ski helmet..

dear posing...

fun with lots of frs ard...
all if us brought walkie talkie too...
save money...

we didnt engage instructor.. we all learn ourselves..

jus rem "A" shape is to stop... to move is parallel...
we also help one another when we fell down...
lifen rescued most of us...
haha..

1st time ski n can ski well...

Day 4

again.. we waste no time...
we meet 8am for breakfast n ski!!

oh the ski clothings got lots of pockets...
so can put cameras etc..

n the lens spoilt...

day ski different feel oh...
nite is cold n fun..
day ski is rather hot when sun is out..
temp range from -23˚C to -17˚C ..

this resort got alot of ski tracks...

beautiful place..

initally i jus wana stay at almost flat area to snow..

like below pic..

then gradually we all move up abit of slope by climbing/walking up..

some bought the lift tix to bring them upslope...me, steph n ling stay behind at flat area...

then we started climbing abit slope...

after 3 climbs..

we gave up...

we bought tix for the lift too...

not cheap ah..

its S$54 for the lift..

so all of us went up to the most gentle slope!!!

real cool!

but my thigh is very "sour" cos need to use thigh strength to control..

need to squat abit...

"A" shape when wana stop...

parallel when wana move...

overall i din really visit alot of seoul places...

but is ok...

feel shiok to experience -23˚C weather..

think this is the coldest i've been.

feel great to ski.. cos its always a dream to try ski...

i love my job!
